In the spring of 2020 our worlds were turned upside down with the emergence of COVID-19 globally and the subsequent lockdown in Ireland. For many our homes and our gardens became our sanctuaries.

 

In response to our changing circumstances I worked on a new remote programme with Helium Arts called Distance Creates.  This combined home-based activities, postal surprises and virtual sharing.

Tiny Captured Rainbows is a legacy of the Distance Creates programme and it brings together the artwork of 32 young artists between the ages of 9 and 12 who joined us over six weeks to document and colourfully celebrate the tiny moments in our everyday life.
